'88 Z31 300ZR (Domestic model with a DOHC head VG30)
This paticulr car has been installed with a VG30DET (DOHC head
with turbo for Y31)
This engine was the most powerful engine in Nissan before the Z32 twin turbo.
255hps with a DOHC head is much more powerful than the VG30ET installed on the Z31 300ZX
This was the fastest and the most powerful Z31.

Oil leak from the turbine and noise from the transmission was detected.

(1) Taking the engine & transmission out (2) Looks bad but the engine itself is in good condition

(3)Oil leak and cracks in the hose every where (4) Oil leak from the center bearing of the turbo

(5) Oil leak on found every where it seems. Since the engine was not original the mouting was not preciclly. We do not know who did the the installtion of the engine for the first time

(6) New timeing belt, tensoner water pump and qil sealing was installed

(7) Restoring the cam covers, intake manifolds and timng belt covers.
All Z31 has Aluminum timing belts covers unlike the Z32

(8) Oil leak from rear end of the crank shaft. It should be check everytime you have you clutch or fly wheels jobs

(9) Restoring the power steering pump. oil leak from the bearing

(10) Washing of the commpressor (11) New turbines

(12) A new transmission (13) New hoses only.

(14) New conctors (15) New engine mounts were made.

(17) Installation of the engine and transmission before the body work

(18) repair of the crack in the lower part of the fender

(19) repair of the front side of the same fender (20)Sealing was installed to the engine hood. Seem like the hood was change without the sealing

(21) Spraying of the under coating in the genuine Nissan style

(22) Repairing and re-sealing of the the T bar roof

(23) Sanding was done before the new paint job. The old paint had crackes.

(24) Black was painted prior to the requested color. Many process of sanding was done.
